Elizabeth Dugger Humphrey, 43 of Ocoee, Florida passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at Health Central Hospital in Ocoee.
Elizabeth was born on June 4, 1972 in Morganton, North Carolina, the daughter of Paula J. (Mihalick) McBride and the late Robert L. Dugger. Elizabeth was the loving wife of Joshua S. Humphrey and beloved mother of Logan Humphrey.
Elizabeth was a Telecommunication Engineer for Century Link for many years, she leaves behind a large group of friends that were like family to her, she loved and cherished the time she spent with them. She loved volunteering at Logan’s school, Tildenville Elementary; he has very special memories of her, planting a garden, making crafts and many holiday parties with his class.
Elizabeth had a loving, kind, gentle spirit; everyone enjoyed being with her and she made friends everywhere she went. She loved the outdoors: biking, swimming, camping and being in nature were some of the things that made her most happy. She was a passionate and very active member of the Burning Man Community.
Besides her loving husband Joshua S. Humphrey and precious son Logan Humphrey. She is survived by her mother Paula McBride of Boone, NC., and Granddaughter of Hazel Mihalick of Lapeer, MI. Two sisters, Polly Taylor and husband Drew of Boone, NC., and Christine Foltz and husband David of Spring Hill, FL., daughter-in-law to Ann Humphrey of Frisco, TX and Five nieces and nephews: Paul, Dylan and Luke Taylor of Boone, NC., and David Foltz and Jessica Foltz and husband Daniel of Spring Hill, FL., one great nephew Matthew Foltz of Spring Hill, FL. She was the daughter-in-law to the late Scott Humphrey.
The family invites all relatives and friends to a Celebration of Life in honor of Elizabeth on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 10:00 am at Ocoee Lakeshore Center, 150 N. Lakeshore Drive, Ocoee, FL 34761.
