Gracious "Basha" Desir, 45 of Orlando, Florida, died Monday, March 30, 2015, at home surrounded by his loving family. Gracious was born in St. Lucia, West Indies, the Son of Robert Desir and Theresa (Boscom) Desir. He was the loving husband of Monica (Smith) Desir.
Basha was born in St. Lucia, but was raised and lived most of his life in St. Thomas, VI. Basha loved nature and being outside. He was known for his passion of being a mechanic. He lived in Philadelphia, PA for a few years where he continued to do what he enjoyed most.
Basha moved to Florida where the construction trade was introduced. No matter what work he did, mechanic was always his passion. He was a man truly known for his many talents.
He is survived by his five children, Monique Levan, Philadelphia, Pa., Monisha Desir, Orlando, FL., Jahmarly Desir, Orlando, FL., Jahkaiza Desir, Orlando, FL., Jahzavaiah Desir, Orlando, FL. Two Brothers Julius Desir, St. Thomas, and Ezra Desir, Orlando, FL. Seven Sisters: Claudia Reguis, St. Thomas, Mories Desir, New York, Angela Carmona, St. Thomas, Albertha Clark, New York, Anthonia Prescod, Orlando, FL., Dona Francis, Orlando, FL., Nola Desir, Orlando, FL.
